But there’s no substitute for becoming better. And becoming the best starts with a work ethic that never stops.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness isn’t always easy. And while some of us can forgive at the drop of a dime, others spend a lifetime trying. Some never forgive at all.

Forgiveness leads to a life of more freedom and peace. But getting there can feel impossible when emotions take over. And as long as you hold a grudge, the grudge holds you.

In this episode, you’ll discover how to forgive those who’ve wronged you and find peace that lasts a lifetime.

Show Highlights Include:

  • The Dave Willis Way to unlock a new level of freedom in your life. ([0:30])
  • How to unleash the grip of grudges and make forward progress to heal. ([1:26])
  • How to make forgiveness a part of your future (instead of letting it trap you to the past). ([2:47])
  • The Eddie Jaku philosophy for finding beauty in the first steps of forgiveness. ([4:15])

GUSTO

If you’ve never heard of the word ‘gusto,’ it means doing something with zest or a spark. That’s the way most of us want to live our lives.

But most people don’t live with gusto. They’re stuck in their comfort zones, which prevent them from taking on the challenges they need to grow.

Having gusto is about pushing out of comfort zones to live life to the max. If you can’t step out of your comfort zone, then you can’t grow into something greater.

In this episode, you’ll discover how to find enjoyment in your days and give life meaning with a little gusto.

Show Highlights Include:

  • How to use a 1960s beer commercial to uplift your spirit and define life on your terms with the. ([0:35])
  • The ‘George H. W. Bush’ way to add more zest to your life (no matter your age). ([4:50])
  • Why stepping out of your comfort zone makes you enjoy life more. ([7:16])
  • How to be so full of life that people say you’ve “died young”- even if you’re 80 years old. ([9:22])

It’s about carrying the right traits and being authentic. A good man always makes practical choices and uses sound judgment to make a positive impact on himself and the world.

In this episode, you’ll discover how to build your authentic reputation as a man and inspire others on a daily basis.

Silence

We all like music, TV and conversations, but you might be surprised by the damage noise can do (even when you’re having fun).

Clogging your brain with loud sounds, alerts, and pings leads to a poor sleep schedule and sabotages your ability to focus. And you can’t lead if you can’t think.

While quiet time can feel like you’re missing out on something, it gives your brain time to reflect and rest (which is impossible to get in a busy, chaotic world).

In this episode, you’ll discover how to stop the buzz and use silence as a tool for a more peaceful and powerful life.

Show Highlights Include:

  • How to stop treating silence like a ‘timeout’ and embrace it to boost your intuition and awareness. ([0:52])
  • Why spending time in silence turns you into a true leader (and the three leadership skills silence teaches you). ([5:06])
  • How to stop ‘noise pollution’ from stressing out your body, raising your blood pressure, and damaging your hearing. ([6:33])
  • How to create the most concentrated and productive learning space with an ‘Albert Einstein’ level of noise. ([11:52])
  • Why ten minutes of quiet time is essential to your mental health (and how the military, workforce and schools use silence to boost performance). ([14:38])

Momentum

Momentum can move you forward almost effortlessly – or keep you stuck wherever you are.

When your positive habits gather momentum, success is on autopilot. But when laziness, complacency and negativity gather momentum, it chains you to the status quo.

Positive momentum is hard to get started. But it fast-tracks your results and lets you exceed your goals (without working yourself to the bone).

In this episode, you’ll discover how to build and keep momentum so that you can build a great life and share it with others.

Ready to put your success on autopilot? Listen now!

Show Highlights Include:

  • How “Aristotle’s Way” lets you develop good habits to fast-track success in your work (even if you’re feeling unproductive). ([2:19])
  • The sneaky way excuses and distractions keep you from doing your work – and how to eliminate those barriers to finish all the tasks on your list. ([3:57])
  • How success turns people into arrogant bums – and how to accomplish your wildest dreams without losing your humility. ([6:45])
  • Why friction keeps you from gaining momentum and sabotages your relationships and your career. ([7:23])
  • The Harvard study that shows how vacation time, bonuses and raises can slow down your career progress (and why you need forward progress in your work to “unlock” momentum). ([10:05])

Cleansing

Just as people consider a juice cleanse to get rid of toxins in their body, a mental cleanse helps you get rid of the emotions and experiences weighing you down daily.

And when cleansing your soul of emotional “junk,” you are often left with clarity, creativity, and mental wholeness – ready to take on the world and renewed in your spirit.

In this episode, you’ll learn the power of checking in daily for a mental cleanse and why you only need a few soul-feeding minutes to make life more wholesome (and less infested with junk).

Show Highlights Include:

  • What being a ‘news junkie’ does to your soul – and how to immediately restore your spirit (without feeling the stress of the feed). ([1:30])
  • The Psalm 51 solution to stop feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders and start living with more peace, forgiveness, and healing. ([4:48])
  • Why the Blue Mind Effect instantly increases your happiness, makes you feel more connected, and enhances your spiritual energy as a whole. ([9:47])
  • The daily ritual for cleansing emotional wounds and feeling more open-hearted (even if you only have a few minutes). ([12:43])

Resourcefulness

It may not come as a surprise that being resourceful is your “secret weapon” to powering through goals and quickly adapting to new situations.

But resourcefulness isn’t about having everything – it’s about using the tools you already have for the results you want. Some of the most successful people started out with nothing but a little ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking to achieve the impossible.

In this episode, you’ll learn how resourcefulness leads you to success and why you already have the power to achieve everything you want (even if you can’t envision the path yet).

Show Highlights Include:

  • What five qualities make you a more resourceful person today (and why lacking them makes life more difficult). ([0:29])
  • The ‘Beach Time’ philosophy to stop thinking about the things missing in your life and start finding the luxury in simplicity. ([3:55])
  • Why resourcefulness is your most powerful mindset – and the ways you should be thinking to achieve everything you desire. ([8:12])
  • How Melissa Wood’s resourcefulness changed the world of fitness – and how to power through your obstacles with the same process. ([14:04])
